Ashish Pandey is an AI engineer and AI researcher who builds and studies language-based AI systems, with a focus on making them more reliable, fair, and usable in real-world settings.
At Center for AI Research Nepal (CAIR-Nepal), he works on understanding and evaluating sociocultural bias in large language models for the Nepali language. He helped design a structured evaluation framework and curated datasets for analysis across multiple model families, work that led to the preprint Dual-Metric Evaluation of Social Bias in Large Language Models.
He is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Engineering at Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
His engineering work spans the full machine learning lifecycle: model development with PyTorch and TensorFlow, production APIs with FastAPI and Django, LLM orchestration with LangChain, and cloud deployment on AWS with Docker. He has built LLM memory systems, multi-agent applications, and voice-driven AI tools, as well as assistive-technology projects such as Sanket and SignEase 2.0.
